Jeanie Kozak Named Wal-Mart Teacher of the Year!

Jeanie Kozak, a teacher at Hall High School in Spring Valley was recently named Teacher of the Year by the Spring Valley WalMart Private Fleet. The award arrived early in the new school year. Kozak received a $1,000 grant for Hall High School, a $100 gift card to buy supplies for classroom supplies and a personalized certificate.
“Our area has fantastic teachers,” said WalMart Private Fleet General Manager Kelly Kruse. “We are pleased to honor Jeanie Kozak as the Teacher of the Year and to share this great news with our community.”
Since the WalMart Teacher of the Year program began in 1995, the WalMart Foundation has honored more than 30,000 teachers nationwide and donated more than $29 million to local schools. Last year more than $67 million was provided in support of educational initiatives.
